This was an exciting project in partnership with Sesame India, who are a branch of the Sesame Street USA. Radio Mewat broadcast over 90 episodes of the series titled Galli Galli Sim Sim, which is targeted towards children in the age group of 3 to 10, and their parents. This is an extremely popular program all over the world and also involves a community segment that is recorded in advance or is taken live. The program encourages listeners to call and respond soon after the program is broadcast and also has the facility of Radio on Telephony, which allows people to listen to the program on their phones, without having to pay for the call. The technology is designed and serviced by Gram Vaani through GRINS operating system.
