A campaign for mobilizing communities for the second dose of COVID vaccine, by SATTVA in collaboration with SMART, was launched in 2021. Its objectives were to leverage community radios to mobilize communities for the second dose of COVID vaccine, and disseminate correct /credible information with the purpose to build trust in the vaccine. As covid 19 became a havoc for the society, the program was centered on sensitizing people towards the Importance of vaccines in keeping communities safe.

It was a 3 month long project in which 25 Community Radio stations across 11 states participated. Extensive work was done by the radio stations in achieving the goals set in the beginning. Outreach activities, fresh episodes, and many original creatives were developed during the course of the program.

The program reached a total of ~1.25 crore people and was able to successfully generate 1369 stories of impact.
